From the City of Light to the Cradle of the Renaissance, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding tour of Europe reached its final destination.

The bride and groom officially tied the knot at the Belvedere Fort in Florence, according to People magazine and E! Online.

E! reports that the bride wore a Givenchy Haute Couture gown designed by the label's creative director, Riccardo Tisci. He also outfitted the groom in a bespoke tux. He even crafted a mini-me version of Kardashian's dress for daughter North. (Tisci was also the designer behind Kardashian's Met Gala dress.)

Kardashian's sisters were in the bridal party and her stepdad Bruce Jenner escorted her down the aisle, according to E! Online.

Andrea Bocelli sang and Rich Wilkerson Jr., a pastor from North Miami, performed the ceremony, said People.

Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, told E! News after the ceremony that she is "beyond bursting with happiness for Kim, Kanye and baby North."

"Such a magical, romantic wedding!" she said. "I feel blessed to have my new son and his family as part of ours."

The couple rented the 16th century Belvedere Fort for 300,000 euros ($410,000) for Saturday's wedding ceremony, Elisa Di Lupo, a spokeswoman at the Florence mayor's office, told the Associated Press.

Buzz around the big day has unfolded globally, with social media users continually posting comments about the over-the-top wedding plans.

Kardashian and her entourage took to social media as well, chronicling some elaborate pre-wedding adventures in Paris and its surrounding areas. The posts included updates on shopping and strolling in beautiful arisian gardens.

Then came an evening fit for the Sun King: A pre-wedding party on Friday at the Chateau of Versailles.

People magazine reports that 600 guests -- including music executives Guy Oseary and Rick Rubin and Lanvin designer Albar Elbaz -- arrived in a convoy of 90 vehicles at Versailles.

Musician Lana Del Rey, said to be a Kardashian favorite, performed three songs during the rehearsal dinner. "It was all French stuff. Pretty much everything was truffled," TMZ reported, of the dinner. Fireworks followed.

On Saturday morning, members of Kardashian's entourage posted photos from the airport. Jonathan Cheban posted a photo on Instagram: "Early morning with the crew ... here we go." Larsa Pippen, wife of former NBA star Scottie Pippen, posted a picture of a plane full of what appeared to be wedding guests departing Paris.

This will be the first marriage for West, who was previously engaged to designer Alexis Phifer. It's the third for Kardashian. She was wed to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2003, and spent 72 days married to professional basketball player Kris Humphries in 2011. Kardashian and Humphries married in a lavish ceremony broadcast as a two-part TV special. They officially divorced in June after a 20-month divorce battle.

Kardashian, 33, and West, 36, first stepped out together in April 2012, catching a screening of The Hunger Games. At that time, they claimed to be just friends. In December 2012, West announced during a show in Atlantic City that Kardashian was pregnant.

Their daughter, North West, was born on June 15.

In October, West popped the question on bended knee at AT&T Park in San Francisco, accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra.
