SAN ANTONIO -- You knew it would happen.

It appears the air conditioning might have decided to take a break from cooling down the AT&T Center during a sweltering Game 1 of the NBA Finals to spend more time on Twitter.

Just as the A/C went haywire during the game, the alleged culprit took to Twitter to offer an apology.

In the initial tweet, @ACspurs_ wanted fans to know 'I'm sorry guys'.

Next Spurs AC tweeted the obvious question on everyone's mind:  'Why are they called the Heat of they can't handle it?'

Despite temperatures in the mid-80s, the end the Spurs were able to beat the heat to beat the Heat 110-95 on Thursday.

But before Spurs fans give credit to the Silver and Black for winning the game, @ACspurs_ tweeted to remind everyone: 'I'm the real MVP.'

An electrical failure was blamed for the real malfunctioning A/C.  Click here to Follow Spurs AC on Twitter.
