Houston native Alexis Bledel is engaged to her "Mad Men" co-star, Vincent Kartheiser, according to reports.
Bledel plays Beth Dawes, the mistress of Kartheiser’s character, Pete Campbell.
It’s a first marriage for both.
Bledel grew up in Houston and attended St. Agnes Academy.
Her mom encouraged her to try acting in community theaters to help her overcome her shyness. She got her big Hollywood break with the starring role of Rory on "Gilmore Girls" in 2000.
