AUSTIN, Texas -- The oldest McDonald's in Texas will host a grand reopening at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
The fast-food restaurant is located in Austin at Capital Plaza off Interstate 35, just south of 290.
There will be door prizes and special menu prices.
The store will also present a $3,000 check to Austin non-profit Launchpad, an organization that works with disadvantaged youth.
The store originally opened in 1962.
