Ghostbusters, the movie, came out 30 years ago this weekend. And Sony Pictures is planning a summer of celebration for the sci-fi/comedy film's anniversary.

If you missed seeing this classic back in 1984, don't worry. According to Entertainment Weekly, on August 29th, Ghostbusters will be re-released in over 700 theaters across America.

There are other events for the movie's anniversary this summer, including special events and new merchandise.

Sony Pictures is also planning a re-release of Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II on Blu-ray. The two films will come out in anniversary editions on September 16th. The new editions will also contain never-before-seen deleted scenes, and new conversations with Dan Aykroyd and director Ivan Reitman.
