NEW YORK – A star of the reality series “Duck Dynasty” says he was a victim of “facial profiling.”

The family from Monroe, Louisiana was in New York City promoting the show's new season.

The show’s star Jase Robertson said he asked a hotel staffer to direct him to the bathroom. The employee escorted him right out of the building – he mistook him for a homeless man.

Many of the male cast members wear long distinct beards.

Robertson said he decided to still stay at the hotel despite the misunderstanding.
