HOUSTON—It’s Friday the 13th and if you’re looking for something to do, a haunted attraction along 288 in Brazoria county, called the Creepy Hollow Haunted House is open for one day only.
“Fear is personal you know. For each person there’s something different,” said Co-owner Brent Baker.
With 90 volunteers, the actors stay in character throughout the event. Whether it’s Molly the cannibal or the man with meat cleaver, there is sure to be someone who will make you scream.
”We have a team of people that are passionate about what they do and it shows when you come through,” said Baker.
Creepy Hollow now offers several attractions and activities, including Dark Woods, The 288 Scare Factory, Pitch Black, Creepy Hollow World of Oddities, Creepy Hollow Freak Show, The Voodoo Lounge, Fight the Knight, and a preview of the Creepy Hollow Bus Adventure coming in 2015.
Creepy Hollow has been voted "Scariest Haunted Attraction in Texas" for two years in a row, and was a featured haunt on the Hauntcon Haunt tour in January.
The attraction will open again the first weekend in September on weekends and will last through November.
Creepy Hollow says it always donates a portion of its proceeds to help local charities
