UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. -- The milestones keep piling up for rock ‘n’ roll pioneer Chuck Berry, including one next month at one of his most popular haunts.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that on Jan. 15, the 87-year-old singer will mark his 200th performance at the Duck Room at the Blueberry Hill venue on the University City Loop. Tickets for the 9 p.m. show are $35 and go on sale Friday morning at Ticketmaster outlets and on ticketmaster.com.
Berry is a St. Louis native considered one of rock’s pioneers. He had hits including “Roll Over Beethoven,” “Sweet Little Sixteen” and “Johnny B Goode.”
