The Texas Conference for Women is once again coming to Houston and this year invites women to "live fearlessly."  Now in its 12th year, the Conference is the largest of its kind in the state with more than 6,000 attendess offering a unique opportunity to network, communicate and be inspired.  Hosted by Texas First Lady Anita Perry, the Conference will be held on Thursday, November 17 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.

“For more than a decade, I have seen the impact The Texas Conference for Women has on the lives of thousands of Texans. As we approach our 12th annual Conference, I am proud to share our new offerings and keynotes that were chosen specifically for women,” said First Lady Anita Perry. “We are bringing an all-star speaker lineup, Small Business Bootcamp, Heath & Wellness Pavilion, Career Pavilion and ways to connect with your peers through engaging keynote speeches, workshops and panel discussions.  We have something exactly for you,” said Perry.

Life coach and O, The Oprah Magazine, columnist Martha Beck, Longhorn sports legend and Hall of Famer Jody Conradt, Emmy Award-winning actress from TV’s “Ugly Betty,” America Ferrera, children’s health care advocate Cindy Hensley McCain and writer and director Lisa Niemi Swayze will be among the dozens of speakers.

This year’s theme, Live Fearlessly!, encourages women to conquer the challenges of their daily life, whether professionally or personally.
