HOUSTON – Heavy rains Friday did not stop people from helping the city’s children by dropping off donations for the KHOU11 Food Drive at our studios all day.
Volunteers from Adobe Equipment helped unload boxes and pallets of food Friday afternoon in an effort to prevent local children from going hungry.
“We are about Houstonians helping Houstonians. We are local company and we want to help our local people in need,” said Kerry Williams, president of Adobe Equipment.
Volunteers said they that in the last three weeks they were able to collect multiple truckloads of food and hope to collect more.
