Lucy Noland debuts on 11News

Houston, TX —Lucy Noland made her debut with Houston’s number one news team on April 16 as co-anchor of 11News at 5 p.m. and 11News at 10 p.m.
Noland joins the award-winning 11News team of Greg Hurst, Chief Meteorologist Dr. Neil Frank and Sports Director Giff Nielsen.
“We are delighted to welcome Lucy to Houston and 11News ,” according to Susan McEldoon, KHOU-TV Vice President and Station Manager. “We searched America to find the right person to complement our award-winning news team. We are very pleased to have found someone as talented as Lucy to fill this important position for 11News .”

These qualities will make her a perfect fit for our station and the communities we serve.”
Before joining Channel 11, Noland anchored at WNYW-TV in New York as co-host of its morning show, “Good Day New York Wakeup.” Noland has also worked for television stations in Detroit, Fresno, California and Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska.
Noland is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association.

Lucy replaces Lisa Foronda who left Channel 11 in December to pursue other opportunities.
