GALVESTON -- Whether it's relaxing at the beach, shopping along The Strand or soaking in the history of Galveston, the island offers something for everyone.

Now, your photos of Houston's favorite playground could win you a fabulous weekend getaway at the charming Hotel Galvez and free passes to many of the island's attractions! 

Enter your best pics in the "Love Galveston Facebook Photo Contest" and show everyone what you love best about the island.

To enter, click the registration tab on the KHOU 11 Facebook page and register for your chance to win. Your photo and caption should show what you love most about Galveston Island. 

You can enter once daily throughout the four-week photo upload period. After that, fans have two weeks tol vote for their favorite photos. Recruit all of your Facebook family and friends to help you get more votes! 

The photo receiving the highest number of fan votes will win the grand prize which includes a two-night stay at the historic Hotel Galvez, a Wyndham Grand Hotel.

The winner also receives four VIP attraction passes, which allow complimentary admission to Bishop's Palace, Lone Star Flight Museum, Moody Gardens Rainforest Pyramid, Moody Mansion, Ocean Star Drilling Rig Museum and more. 

The #LOVEGALVESTON approximate retail value:  $800!

Entrants can visit the Galveston Island Facebook fan page to receive a code to be entered in the contest registration form for (1) bonus entry.
