Photos: Firefighters honor fallen captain

Firefighters and paramedics lined the roads and freeways of Houston Wednesday to honor a HFD Captain Thomas Dillion, of Fire Station 69, who collapsed and died at the scene of a kitchen fire after complaining of chest pains. An ambulance, accompanied by a police and fire escort, carried Dillion’s body from the hospital to the medical examiner after he passed away.
