HOUSTON -- Nearly 400 attendees dazzled in red as they showed their support for heart disease research at Hotel ZaZa for the 10th annual Go Red For Women Luncheon, held on Wednesday, May 15, 2014.
Guests were invited to a pre-luncheon boutique, where women sipped wine and shopped at several stands outfitted with pieces from high-end designer collections, including Kendra Scott jewelry and Source Vital holistic spa treatments.
Later, ZaZa's ballroom erupted in applause as the luncheon's keynote speaker, Joy Bauer, the Today Show's nutrition and health expert took to the stage and delivered a presentation on heart health maintenance. Attendees were encouraged to donate money to the American Heart Association, and beneficiaries of AHA's research gave their personal testimonies with heart disease at the luncheon.
