If you love the sand, sun and surf, the Beach Dash Galveston may be right up your alley.
The second annual event is coming up on October 6th.
Beach Dash offers a unique twist on the typical 5K obstacle course. It challenges participants on a sandy course that includes running over a wobbly dock, jumping across sizzling coals and diving into an arctic plunge.
Spectators and participants stick around afterwards for a beach party with beer and live music.
