HOUSTON – Continuing our look at tech companies with back-to-college savings, let’s turn to Sony and Adobe.

College students (and staff) can save on Sony computers, including the latest Vaio Pro Ultrabook. There’s free ground shipping on all orders of $25 or more. If you want a bigger hard drive and faster graphics, Sony is also offering up to $500 in savings for custom built machines with upgrades.

Sony is not just about computers though. If you buy a PC, you can save up to $200 on other electronics, like cameras.

Once you take all those great photos, you’ll want to edit them.  Software like Adobe Photoshop can easily cost hundreds of dollars, but the company’s Creative Cloud has a student and teacher edition available for $30/month. This also gives you access to other programs like Adobe Illustrator and Dreamweaver – essentials for any graphics, media, web, etc. student.
