HOUSTON – We know smartphones take pretty good photos these days, but an upcoming product can make the shots on your iPhone look even better. This and more in today’s Tech Talk…
== Moment lens ==
Several camera attachments and tools have been made for smartphones before, but a new one called Moment is getting attention on the fundraising site Kickstarter. The designers of Moment used the same high-precision optics used to make movies, so the images are pretty incredible, and the lenses are small enough to fit in your pocket. They should start shipping sometime in June. A $49 investment on the product’s Kickstarter page will get you one of the two lens options available while $99 will get you both -- not too bad!

== Tesla to make an affordable car ==
Despite media reports about car fires and, more recently, concerns about charging adapters, Tesla is growing fast. The company’s CEO says they're working on a more affordable electric car that should be ready in three years. Right now Tesla only has one model that will set you back about $70,000. The cheaper vehicle will sell for about half of that. There are also reports the company is working on a truck – good news for all of us in Texas that need an electric truck.
