HOUSTON – New gadgets are starting to appear out of the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas. Also, Facebook responds to claims that the site is monitoring un-posted thoughts.

Looking for a high-end oven? A $12,000 smart oven range from Dacor may be just thing you need for your luxury kitchen. The company is showing it off at this year’s CES in Las Vegas. The Dacor smart oven has two ovens, six burners, and a built-in Android tablet with all of the controls. You can even control it remotely with your smartphone.

An online petition is calling for Facebook to stop monitoring un-posted thoughts. There are claims going around the web that the social network keeps track of all the words you type – even if you backspace and delete them or censor yourself before posting. Tech experts, however, say this is not the case. Instead the social network does keep stats on whether or not you “self-censored” yourself, but it doesn’t and cannot keep a log of the actual words you deleted.
