Thunderstorms will track towards Houston and New Orleans late afternoon and overnight. However this won't dampen the enthusiasm and spirit of the crowds greeting there victorious team. Any afternoon parades for the team will be cool and damp. So if your heading to New Orleans for the big celebration this week bring your warmest jacket.
The Midwestern half of the country is getting yet another snow storm today with two separate systems coming together to create more snow. A number of winter storm watches and warnings stretch from Texas to New England. This time the Boston/New York area has a better chance of seeing snow with up to a foot in a few areas from the Ohio valley eastward.
Another cold blast of air is rushing southward out of the Arctic region yet again this week. Enjoy the warmer weather Monday since a winter chill will settle in overnight for the Houston metro region. Warm temperatures and enough moisture ahead of the Pacific front should mean a chance of a few strong thunderstorms late today. After this evening, highs won't get much above 50 for the next few days. Another chance of rain or sleet especially to the North of town by Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
