Yep, Dallas will get 1-2 inches of fresh snow today!  It's all part of a big winter storm that will make things windy and cold in Houston today, and snowy in north Texas.  Travel on I-20 west of Dallas may be very slow due to heavier snow west of the city.  Here's a look at the map this morning with the blue area (snow) just west of Dallas now and heading in later today.

Houston and southeast Texas gets a windy and cold Christmas Eve with temps falling through the 50's today and a northwest wind gusting to 30mph.  I expect things to clear out overnight with a light freeze expected Christmas morning.  Sunny and a high that will struggle to make 50 Christmas Day!
