A blustery Winter chill along with plenty of rain puddles will greet runners in the 2013 Houston Chevron Marathon. Are you ready for what mother nature is going to dish out Sunday morning? The weather Sunday morning will resemble the typical marathon weather in Boston, rather than Houston.
There's a 60 percent chance of rain showers along with northerly 15-20 mph winds. Marathon day temperatures will start out in the 50s and drop into the 40s by the end of the race. Wind chill readings will average in the low 40s through the race. Runners are encouraged to wear layers and peel them off as the race progresses.
