Tropical Storm Isaac has intensified a little more today. Hurricane hunters where able to find 60-70mph wind speeds on the latest fly over near a better organized center of circulation. 

Currently, the storm is tracking northwest at 16mph. A hurricane watch has been issued for Haiti and a tropical storm watch has been issued for the Florida Keys. The storm will make landfall over Haiti tonight. After that the latest model runs continue to favor an Eastern Gulf of Mexico track with heavy rain bands pushing across Western Florida and the Keys as early as Sunday evening. 

Reliable hurricane modelsLike the GFS are nudging Isaac further East since th\e morning runs. This is a trend we will have to watch as the storm emerges over the Florida straits early next week. This could be a zone of rapid intensification if the center of circulation is not overly disrupted in Cuba.
