A high pressure ridge will build in state wide making for a beautiful weekend.  The strong North wind will be the only negative factor unless your sailing on Lake Conroe. The bay and off shore waters will experience choppy seas and small craft advisories for much of the day. Highs will average from the upper 60s to low 70s along the upper Gulf coast.

The week starts of with lighter winds and lots of sunshine. As the high shifts into the gulf waters the temperatures will moderate into the mid to upper 70s under southerly flow by the end of the work week .

A blocking ridge of high pressure through the middle of the week will keep Houston dry and Spring-like.
