What a messy Monday! Heavy rain this morning will taper off to scattered light showers this afternoon. Rain totals may exceed 1" in many spots today but we are not expecting any severe weather. The map below shows a surface low moving across the Texas coast giving us the rain this morning. An upper level low in west Texas now will cross the area later today and give the afternoon and evening rush a chance for light rain.
