The past couple of mornings have been almost cold with lows in the burbs dropping into the mid and upper 40's this morning. We will be in the upper 40's and low 50's Thursday morning before a warming trend begins. The winds are expected to shift from the northeast to the southeast by late this afternoon. There is still plenty of dry air over the gulf so it wont bring the humidity up immediately, but by the weekend you'll feel the heat and humidity as we head toward highs in the 90s Saturday and Sunday.
Sadly, the extended forecast has no rain in it through Tuesday of next week. The drought continues to tighten its grip.
