I'm expecting about 30% of southeast Texas to get some rain today. We saw some of the thunderstorms yesterday produce some dangerous cloud to ground lightening. Remember, lightening can strike up to 10 miles away from the actual storm, so if you hear thunder, go inside until it passes.
That 'thing' in the tropical Atlantic ocean is not showing signs of development. As of this morning, the National Hurricane Center gives it only a 10% chance of developing into a tropical cyclone over the next 48 hours. Here's the latest satellite pic of the disturbance.
