Isaac weather update 7am. New this morning is a western shift in the track of Isaac. A hurricane watch has been issued from the mouth of the Mississippi to the Florida Panhandle. The satellite imagery still does not show a very healthy storm. Pressures are just at 995mb (29.38"). The GFS and European models have traded places.

The GFS model now has a more westerly drift in the path towards the Mississippi delta. The European model pushes the storm closer to Mobile, Alabama. Either way the spread of the models after 36 hrs is quite uncertain. Hurricane watches now extend all the way West to the mouth of the Mississippi not including New Orleans.
