Hurricane hunters couldn't find a closed circulation pattern late this morning, so Tropical Depression # 7 has been downgraded to a tropical wave. In spite of this development, the Windward Islands will still get substantial rainfall today and tonight.
All tropical storm watches have been lowered for the region and the weather will be monitored for the weekend. Another tropical wave is following in the East Atlantic and the odds of formation are about one in five next week.
