The purple area on the radar below is a Tornado watch that is in effect until 3:pm this afternoon. Yesterday we had an EF-0 tornado (winds from 65-85mph) do some roof damage near Bay town and we may see a few more of those today.
I'm most concerned with the threat for flooding in our northwest counties today through tonight. Flash flooding will make driving on FM and secondary roads in Colorado, Austin, Washington, Grimes and Walker counties dangerous. Remember the old saying, "Turn around, don't drown!"
