The drizzle and fog we had this morning may return briefly overnight. The sun is still holding out on us for at least another day. The main issue is left over moisture and another upper level weather disturbance that will cloud up our Tuesday.
The good news is that all of those clouds will keep temperatures rather comfortable with highs only in the mid 70s. This is almost five degrees below normal for this time in April.
The jet stream continues it Spring push of rainy weather into the state with the next system impacting mostly the South Texas area. Our best chances for rain start up with the weekend as a closed circulation pattern currently along the Pacific coast sets up in the Midwestern plains. A stronger jet and shear pattern will make for severe weather along a large area of tornado ally.
