You may think that the temperatures here in Southeast Texas are hot but our friends in West Texas are already seeing Temperatures in the triple digits! That should put some perspective on our warm and muggy days... at least we're staying in the double digits!
We're above average with highs locally in the upper 80's as we should be in the lower 80's for this time of the year. We could get close to touching our record highs over the next couple of days. So stay hydrated and apply sunscreen if you plan to spend time outdoors.
Midland broke their all-time record high for the month of April today with 104 degrees! It's just too early to see temperature that hot.
We have a strong ridge in place which will keep our winds out of the south steady. So warm, muggy and breezy with be the beat for this week.
