Cool Fall nights continue for the weekend. If your cold natured you've probably been reaching for a blanket for almost a week now. Overnight readings have been below normal since Monday morning with numbers even below the 40s North of the metro area. The climb back to near normal overnight temperatures starts Tuesday morning with lows back in the 50s.
The high pressure ridge that has given us some great Fall weather all this week will hold through the weekend. After Sunday it tracks towards the New England area. Houston will start to see additional clouds on Monday and Tuesday as an upper level trough drifts through. Rainfall chances will be minimal as moisture levels remain scant early in the week.
As the preholiday travel period gets into full gear Wednesday a ridge of high pressure moves back into Texas and the midwest. This means some great weather for the Thanksgiving Day parade hosted by KHOU-11. Parade temperatures will range from the upper 50s to low 60s.
