An area of disturbed weather has become a little better orgainzed over the past few hours as it races toward the upper Florida coast at 22mph. The National Hurricane Center is giving this system a 30% chance of developing into a tropical depression or storm over the next 48 hours (that's up from 10% overnight).
Early computer forecast track guidence has this system crossing the northern gulf and giving Houston a rain chance Sunday and Monday. However, we will have to watch this thing very closely in case it decides do intensify.
