An upper level disturbance is marching across the Southwest today and it will increase our chances for more rain around mid week. Warm moist air is already building just to South of the Houston area as a warm front. As this moisture glides up the coast we will first see light rain or drizzle Tuesday. By Wednesday the added lift provided by the disturbance will mean thunderstorms are more likely. Measurable rain is a good bet similar to the Christmas Eve rain event last week.
Microcast Weather Forecast . . .
A break from the freezing temperatures are ahead as the warm front over takes the Southeast Texas area by tomorrow morning. Readings are moderating into the 40s by morning and into the 60s by day. Get ready to pull out your umbrella again Tuesday.
