Dewpoint are gradually rising this weekend with the on set of on shore flow for the next several days. A cool front stops short of pushing all the way through Sunday. This means more muggy days through the end of the work week leading to a few showers by Friday.
So it's official now at 9:45am this Saturday . . . happy first day of Fall or autumnal equinox. The weather will be a little warmer and more humid this first weekend of Fall. Dewpoints are closing in on 70 degrees near shore and in to the upper 60s inland. That should be about where the low temperatures will bottom out tonight. The dry weather continues this weekend so car washes will be doing a brisk business.
