Latest doppler and satellite imagery show a steady but slow movement of tropical down pours heading towards southeast Texas. Galveston and the bay area will start of the morning rush hour with a few healthy thunderstorm. Brief heavy rain and wet roadways will be common through Tuesday as the wave drifts inland.
Hurricane models continue the trend of developing a tropical cyclone in the Southern gulf around mid-week. Latest runs show a significant ridge building in from the midwestern plains and a broad low in the Bay of Campeche. If this trends for the rest of the week, steering currents would take the broad low or cyclone Westward into Mexico.
