Waiting to try out that shiny new bike Christmas morning? You may have to wait until mother nature is done with the stormy weather. A rather strong upper level disturbance will work with moist unstable air to produce super cells in the region. Some of these supercells may contain tornadoes or gusty winds from just after midnight Christmas day through late morning Wednesday.
After the severe storms are done, a cold Arctic blast heads into town that evening. Gusty northerly winds with falling temperatures will dominate the weather.
