Storm chasers got that thrill they where seeking Thursday and again on Friday afternoon. Up to 40 tornadoes where spotted yesterday from Colorado to Kansas, and the Texas panhandle. A look a the severe weather outlook for today and Saturday indicates a progressive weather pattern. An upper level disturbance will slide into the gulf coast region Saturday morning along with enough upper level shear to cause a few severe storms especially North of the Houston area. The main concern is an isolated tornado and large hail along with some gusty winds.
The cool front should help trigger a few strong showers early Saturday with a westerly wind finally drying us out enough by late morning to bring the sun back out by the afternoon. Temperatures will respond with highs in the low 80s yet again Saturday and Sunday with less humidity to close out the weekend.
