This could be our first March day at 70 degrees, if we have enough sunshine and warmer Easterly breezes out there today. The rainfall continues to hold off until Monday morning with odds still at 60% for much of the day. Beach water temperatures are struggling to make it to 60 degrees this week so walking the beach sounds better than taking a swim.

If the Houston Rodeo is more to your liking than near 70 degree readings could cause a crowd for the first matinee performance of the  2010 season. Pull the jackets out  for late night fun on the carnival grounds as readings will slip into the 50s.

A prespring rain shower could cause a few blue bonnets to stir in the hill country, but the peak is still weeks away. Its time to enjoy what Houston and Galveston have to offer. . . Enjoy the weekend.
