High pressure will dominate the weather pattern through the beginning of the weekend. As the high pressure ridge shifts east the temperatures will moderate a bit by Saturday with highs near 70. This is our normal high for this time of the year. Overnight lows will also shift into the 50s by this weekend. Our next chance for rain is Sunday night and very likely Monday.
Another great day to hang out at the carnival grounds Thursday afternoon with highs in the mid 60s Thursday. By Thursday evening the cool sounds of Kenny Chesney will match the temperatures outside with readings in the 50s by the end of the concert . Another dry mostly sunny day ahead Thursday and again Friday afternoon. February was one of the coldest on record with only two days warmer than normal. March is also off to a cooler than usual start with lows in the 30s Wednesday morning. Hopefully our last freeze is behind us and we can enjoy the rodeo in Houston.
