A great night weather wise to celebrate the birth of our nation. Fair skies and milder over night readings will give way to mid 90s by Thursday. A ridge of high pressure dominates the weather pattern across the midwestern plains and North Texas. The ridge will drift back to the East and should weaken by the end of the weekend.
This opens up the possibility of rainfall for the upper gulf coast as early as Saturday. An upper low could develop in this weakness by Sunday. Tropical moisture levels will rise through Monday prompting additional rainfall. The best news is that we will see a break in the typical hot mid 90 degree weather as the rain falls.
