It was nice to see the lightening and hear the thunder rumble across the area last night. Most of the heavy rain was in a band that stretched across north Harris county from Tomball to Spring, Kingwood and Humble to Liberty. This area picked up between 1/2" and 1" of rain.
Other parts did not get as much rain but the cool air is moving in for all of us now. Highs only in the 60's today with mostly cloudy skies and a north wind at 10-20mph.
Up top you'll see the forecast for the Shell Houston Open golf tournament and it looks magnificent! Of course this also means that the weather for the big Final Four weekend is also looking great.
