Sunday mornings low of 30 degrees makes 12 days this month that Houston has experienced below freezing temperatures. Monday's lows will finally start out above freezing for all of the region, temporarily ending our run for the record of 14 days in the winter of 1895.
A spring warm up started this afternoon with our high of 70 degrees. More warmth and dense fog will lead our work week forecast. through at least Wednesday morning. With no major fronts milder mid 70s should continue until the weekend. A slight chance of rain returns for the weekend as an upper level trough approaches.
