This is my forecast for July 4th; I hope you enjoy a safe and happy holiday.  Know that there could be a few passing showers and rumbles of thunder in the early afternoon, but they should clear in time for sky shows everywhere.  

If you're an early riser, there's a reason to get up even if have the day off.  In a near curtain call of their appearance a few months ago, Venus and Jupiter will be visible side-by-side again.  But this time, it will be in the pre-dawn sky.  Look east around 5:30 and you'll see the bright pair:
