A great weekend so far but the cool front that lead to less humid a slightly cooler temperatures is returning as a warm front for Mother's Day. This will lead to more humid mid to upper 80s for the rest of the weekend and start of the work week. The rain continues to elude the Houston-Galveston area with only a slight chance for a rain shower for Sunday. Most of the week ahead is dominated by a deepening trough through the Southwest as a ridge holds firm over the Southeast Texas gulf coast area.
Monday starts out with more humid, rain free and near 90 degree temperature readings like we had last week. Our best chance for showers arrives next weekend as a trough shifts into the plain states allowing a cool front to spike our rain chances.
