I'm seeing plenty of scattered showers coming in off the Gulf of Mexico this morning. The atmosphere is very tropical and we will see widespread showers and thunderstorms before lunch and through the afternoon. Here's a look at what Super Microcast thinks the radar may look like by early afternoon.
I've circled the two spots of disturbed weather in the tropics. The area in the southern Gulf may develop but will move west into Mexico in the next day or two. The spot in the Bahamas could slowly develop as it moves west across Florida and into the Gulf of Mexico over the weekend. We're watching it closely.
