Long range outlooks are starting to look dry and hot for the at least a week or more. The reason a dominant high pressure ridge will move into the upper levels of the atmosphere. Once these weather patterns set up they tend to hang around for several days in a row. The upper level ridge should support low 90 degree readings for the better part of this week.
Rainfall will also be isolated to moisture that gathers along the dry line out across the western portions of the state Sunday and Monday. The approaching front will wash out over the Northern portion of state under the weight of the dry sinking atmospheric air mass.
