The first seven days of August saw highs at Bush airport at or above 100 degrees. The record for the number of days IN A ROW of 100 degrees or more at Bush is nine, set back in 1980. That record may be in jeopardy as we are forecasting highs of 100 or more each day this week.
Rain chances remain slim but like the past few days there will be a small number of us that get a shower in the heat of the afternoon. Rain chance will stay at 10% or less for most of the week.
Nothing in the tropics for now.
