An area of low pressure is getting better organized this morning near Key West, Florida. Below you can see the latest computer model runs taking the low to the Louisiana coast late this workweek. At the moment it is just considered and area of disturbed weather. However, it could become a Tropical Storm in the next 24-48 hours.
For the moment, our local forecast is for increasing rain chances beginning today and a wind shift to the east-northeast. This system should be monitored closely for forecast changes and updates in intensity.
