And the rain could be very heavy in some spots today. What I'm noticing on radar is the very slow movement of the storms that are popping up near the coast this morning. Slow movement and heavy rain = street flooding in Houston. We saw it yesterday on the west side and will probably see it again today. Rain totals could be 2"-4" in an hour or so in some 'unlucky' spots.
Also, for the first time in two weeks, I'm noticing a little more organization with our tropical wave in the Caribbean Sea. Stay tuned...
